Welcome! Whether you are a visitor, parishioner, or simply would like to find out what Holy Ghost Parish has to offer, we invite you to check out our faith formation offerings. While we have been voted the #1 place to worship in the Chippewa Valley, we offer much more than worship; you will find faith study & prayer groups, service opportunities, family ministries and much more.
We also offer something else that you just have to be here to experience: LIFE. That is, the life of the Holy Spirit in the Body of Jesus Christ: “Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in us the fire of your love.”
Feel free to contact us by email, telephone, fax (?), or carrier pigeon (if available). We’d also love to meet you in person, so feel free to stop at the parish rectory offices, at any Mass or special event. Fr. Justin Kizewski, our pastor, is happy to meet with new folks (or old folks, or in-between folks) outside of normal hours, by appointment if possible. We are also on Facebook.
“Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5) You may ask: why “Holy Ghost” and not “Holy Spirit”? Our parish was founded in 1886 and “Holy Ghost” was commonly used until the 1960’s (thanks to King James and some people named Douay and Rheims). Bottom line: “Holy Ghost” is literally carved in stone on top of our church and it’s here to stay.
Prayer (Fides) – Understanding (Ratio) – Service (Caritas)
